Get introduced to wholesome Deep Tissue methods & powerful Thai Massage stretch & shake techniques. Massage is not a trick. Touch only has a wholesome effect when the movement & pressure are applied from a place of deep listening to each individual body & understanding how to use and preserve your own energy. These workshops are an introduction to get acquainted with a few great techniques and support you to become comfortable in giving a massage that energizes both the giver and the receiver. These evenings are a low threshold events, merely meant for fun, relaxation, and the gain of body awareness through touch. For whom This is for people who: ~ wish to learn to give others a fantastic massage ~ want to have a fun evening with others doing massage ~ seek to have an experience where people exchange touch in a clean, conscious way Please bring comfortable loose fitting cloths! Teacher: Maria van den Dool offers meticulous massage and coaching sessions and fun workshops at Orizon centre. She combines different styles of massage, such as Thai massages and Deep Tissue techniques with her intuition. Her touch is thorough and revitalizing and customized to each person's body. Maria's coaching sessions bring love and insight to current processes in your life. She does not shy to take you where it is uncomfortable, but you'll come out the other end: with relief and new found awareness for your next steps in life. She has had her own practice in the Netherlands since 2010. She facilitated events and retreats for personal development & consciousness throughout Europe and the USA. Maria's practice is now based in Crete, where she lives permanently. Maria was educated as a Waldorff school teacher. She worked for several years in primary schools, until she committed to an even greater longing: to live an 'outdoor life', close to her joys and activities she loves: to foster land according to permaculture principles, to sculpt, and to give workshops and sessions on a regular basis.
