Orizon Center for Life & Creation
is a response to the Cretan community's desire to explore ancient traditions, natural healing, integrated movement, music & art therapy, biological nutrition, quantum physics, personal alchemy and sustainable holistic living.
We serve all faiths and traditions with the understanding
we are here to share and learn from each other.
Orizon Center for Life & Creation is host home for many great teachers and practitioners of healing and expressive arts and sciences, having hosted a great deal of seminars and retreats with well known international teachers. Our space by the sea offers diverse workshops and seminars to support and explore the human experience, including: meditation, prayer, dance/art/music therapy, massage, yoga, tai chi, hiking in nature, energy healing, intuition development, creative writing, theatrical improvisation, singing and more.
Those who live in the nearby towns can also attend weekly Meditation evenings (i.e Full moon meditation, Solstice and Equinox meditation) as well as meet with like-minded people in consciousness raising groups.
Orizon Center overlooks to the North the deep blue, glittering sea of the Souda Bay and to the South the eternally snow-capped peaks of the Lefka Ori’s range also called the White Mountains.
Our location is reached by a 30-minute drive on the main highway from Chania International Airport,
and two-hours drive from Heraklion.

- A large room allows for groups to dance, practice yoga, engage in meditation and more.
- An open terrace outside the room encourages one to connect with nature and the serene view of Souda Bay, the peninsula and expansive sky.
- An intimate meeting room is perfect for a small gathering and includes a kitchen.
- A treatment room allows for private sessions with a practitioner.
- For larger functions at the Orizon Center we can also provide overnight stays at AKRIMIOS
- A private walking path from Orizon Center to the sea allows guests to connect with nature as they swim or sit and contemplate the beautiful view.
